How long will it take to get my personalized book or personalized CD?
The average production time is 24 hours. Most orders will ship the next business day. You will receive an email when your order ships.
If you are ordering 1 or 2 items they will ship via US Mail First Class. If you are ordering 3 or more items they will ship Priority Mail. If you require expedited shipping, we would be glad to accommodate your needs, please call 847-691-3238 or email info@musicandbooks4kids.com.
What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Please call 847-691-3238 if you require alternative payment options such as check or money orders.
Only Illinois orders will be charged sales tax. The tax rate is 7%.
How can I be certain my order has been received?
Once you place your order, our system will send a confirming email notifying you that your order has been received.
Personalized Children's CD's
I can’t find my child’s name. What should I do?
First, try searching the entire list. The name you are looking for may be under a different spelling. There are many different ways to spell Kaitlin, for example. It might be listed as Caitlin, Kaitlyn, Katelyn, etc. You can modify the spelling of any of the names. If you are unable to find your child’s name, you can submit a “request for consideration” for our next CD project by emailing info@musicandbooks4kids.com.
I found the correct spelling, but the pronunciation is wrong. Now what?
Listen to the sound clips for the other spellings. Remember, you can always change the spelling. One example is the pronunciation “mad-uh-LYNN”. It’s on our lists as “Madelyn”, but you may spell that pronunciation “Madeleine”. If you are still unable to locate the pronunciation of your child’s name, call our customer service representatives at 847-691-3238 and they will assist you.
Why can’t you make a custom CD for my child’s unique name?
Each of the names we have available were recorded live in the studio with the actual character actors from each brand. It takes a massive amount of time and a huge financial investment to record each new product. We do try and add new names with each new CD, but it’s just not possible to have every name imaginable recorded with every actor. Have you thought about using one of our nicknames or a middle name?
When will you add new CDs?
We are continually working to expand our product line. We have a history of adding at least one new CD each year. Feel free to visit the site often to see what’s new!
Personalized Children's Books
What personalized information do you need?
Minimally, we will need the child's first and last name, the name of at least 2 friends or relatives, and who the book is from. The following options can also be included in each book: age, hometown, a third friend or relative, child's nickname (would be used most often in book), and the date the book is given.
I am ordering books for more than one child, do I use the same order form for all of the children?
No, each time you select a book you will go through the personalization process by filling out the required information for each book you have selected.
I'd like to read the story before ordering. Is this option available?
YES. On each ordering page you will see a short excerpt from the story.
Returns
What is the return policy?
If we have made an error on your order we will replace the item free of charge. However, if the error was due to incorrect information that you provided, we will remake the item for you for 1/2 the original price of the item. To prevent errors, please be sure to proofread your order. If you realize the error after you've submitted the order, please contact us asap at 847-691-3238 and if the item has not gone into production we will make the change.
